Law enforcement officers from several local agencies worked together Wednesday to arrest four alleged drug dealers.

Washington Parish Chief Deputy Mike Haley said that officers from the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office, Franklinton Police Department, Bogalusa Police Department and Rayburn Correctional Center dispersed throughout the parish to arrest the suspects.

This was the fourth drug roundup led by the Sheriff’s Office this year and the fifth roundup in which the Sheriff’s Office has participated.

Arrested and placed in the Washington Parish Jail were:

• Chauncey Magee, 27, Avenue F, Bogalusa, charged with distribution of heroin. His bond is set at $100,000.

• Regina Payne, 58, Jackie Robinson Street, Bogalusa, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs. Her bond is set at $75,000.

Two others on the roundup list were located earlier and placed in the jail:

• Amber Jones, 23, Baton Rouge, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs. Her bond is set at $75,000. Jones was located on Oct. 1 and arrested.

• Antwon Smith, 28, Eddie Pittman Road, Angie, charged with distribution of Schedule IV drugs. His bond was set at $75,000. He met the bond conditions and has been released.

“We have conducted four of these roundups in 2015 and participated with the Drug Enforcement Administration on another round of arrests on federal warrants,” Washington Parish Randy Seal said. “As long as criminals continue to sell illegal drugs, we will continue to go after them and put them in jail.

“More roundups are coming. And if you are selling drugs, you may be next in line to get a ride to the parish jail in the back seat of one of our patrol cars.”

Others with warrants for their arrest were unable to be located on the day of the roundup. The warrants remain outstanding. Anyone with knowledge of the location of any of these individuals is asked to contact the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 839-3434.

Those with outstanding warrants include:

• Montez Allen, Hollis Leslie Road, Angie, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Troy Anne Ard, Houston Street, Angie, charged with distribution of Schedule III drugs.

• Jessica Bourland, Bogalusa, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Brooke Breedlove, Avenue F, Bogalusa, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Jerry Coleman, Dobson Street, Franklinton, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Veronica Gatlin, Angie, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Darryl Harris, Front Street, Bogalusa, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

• Wayne Tate, Dobson Street, Franklinton, charged with distribution of Schedule II drugs.

Haley said that each of these individuals has been captured on video and audio in the act of selling illegal drugs. The Sheriff’s Office will continue to search for them until they are captured or turn themselves in.

Haley said that an extra bonus was discovered at the Front Street residence of Darryl Harris. Another resident of the house allowed officers to enter and they viewed illegal drugs in plain view. A search warrant was obtained, the house was searched and additional illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered.
