Varnado picked up a win Friday night, defeating St. Patrick in Biloxi, Miss., by the score of 34-3, in the opening game of the regular season.

Bogalusa suffered a loss in its first game of the year, as the Lumberjacks fell at Southern Lab by the score of 35-0.

Pine suffered a tough loss at Pearl River, falling 20-19 in a road game.
