Children at the YMCA enjoyed a few minutes of wet fun on Friday, courtesy of the Bogalusa Fire Department.

To help the children celebrate the Y’s end of summer camp, fire department officials allowed one of their water trucks provide a little wet and cooling fun in the form of spray from its water hose. The water went up into the air about 25 feet and came down to where the children were playing. The children were delighted running in and out of the water and playing in the puddles the water created.

“The kids had a lot of fun and we appreciate the fire department helping us out,” Director Toni St. Phillip said.
